Anthropological Haiku

Young leaf, potent oak.
Her wild, fallen temple dives.
Swift tibia, blunt blossom.
~~~
Path thin and leaping,
Contending by the egret;
Mournful, gnarled vertebra.
~~~
Never free, but hard,
The man knows no sad spirits.
Gladdened, he studies.

Hey, I'm no Physical Anthropologist, but I do know one thing...my amateur Haiku stinks!

You'll also notice that in the sidebar I've updated my movie and reading lists. Nicole's treated me to a copy of the book "The Corporation." It inspired the documentary film of the same name a few months ago, and it was one of those things which interested me greatly but I never got around to actually seeing it.

Now that I've got the opportunity to read the book first, I'm sure the film will be an eventual added treat.

And now, back to my studying! Who knew Anthro had lab exams!?
